Compensation: $80 per hour
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced broadcast journalist/anchor in Florida to represent Clematis Men upcoming news division. This is a 1099 independent contractor position, meaning the selected candidate will work as an independent business entity and not as an employee. This role is ideal for someone with a strong on-camera presence and a professional approach to story telling.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver brand messaging through video.
• Collaborate to ensure content aligns with brand goals and audience engagement.
• Maintain a professional and engaging on-camera persona.
• Be responsible for scheduling, preparation, and any necessary equipment related to content delivery.
• Work on a per-project basis with no obligation for ongoing work beyond the agreed terms of each contract.
• Submit invoices for completed work, following agreed-upon payment terms.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a presenter, host, or spokesperson (3 + years broadcast experience in a top 50 market preferred).
• Strong communication skills and comfort in front of the camera.
• Ability to work independently and manage your schedule.
• Must provide your own equipment and tools necessary to complete tasks (unless otherwise specified).
• Must be able to invoice for work completed and manage taxes as an independent contractor.
• Ability to collaborate remotely.
• Must be based in Florida to apply.
Compensation Details:
• $100 per hour for services rendered, based on an agreed-upon contract.
• Payment will be issued upon receipt of an invoice, and all payments are contingent upon the completion of the work.
• This role does not provide employee benefits (such as health insurance, paid time off, etc.), and the contractor is responsible for all taxes, insurance, and business expenses.
